I am also related to the Ablitts of Needham Market. I have lots of information about all branches of this family. I know about Robert Ablitt Ford but would like more information about his brother, James, who apparently stayed in Canada.
The Ablitts of Needham Market are descended from a John Ablitt who married Frances Richardson/Richerson at All Saints Church, Sutton on 6 November 1781. They had children - one of whom was James Ablitt who was a brazier by occupation. All the Needham Market Ablitts are descended from James Ablitt and his wife, Elizabeth Soar who married at St Mary's Church, Barking, Suffolk on 17 May 1819.
