My Grandmother was Eleanor Grace Smith (Nee Ablett)and Edgar and Lillian are relatives. Eleanor married Dennis Smith (My grandad) they had Pamela Denise Smith (MY mother) Kathleen Smith Mark Smith Malcolm Smith and brian Ablett (before she was married hence the name Ablett not Smith)I know that the Abletts mostly originated from Cambridgeshire Ely I think so try looking there.Agreat website for BMD records is www.familysearch its a mine of records so you will find info there.Please e-mail me for more info.Hope to be of some help.Regards Sally.
