Robert Ablett Ford born in Needham Market Suffolk England.He stole his brother from a naval vessel at 15 and they both escaped to Canada and Robert came to Australia. The brothers had worked on Transcontinental railway in Canada. Brother remained there. I n Hillgrove NSW peg out and opened goldmine. Had approx 11 children after marrying Mary Post Eldest and only daughter Sophia Elizabeth Ford born 1894
