Ernie, My line of Abells came to Virginia about 1730.
Where do you live? I would love to exchange information with you,if there is a connection.
My Dad was Joseph William Ables (we spell it that way but some of our cousins spell it Abels) and he was born in 1898 and died in 1988. My line has been in Mississippi from 1830 in Yazoo County to his death in 1988 in Holmes Humphreys Coounty, MS.
I am re-doing the genealogy from Richard Abell in England to Joseph Ables in Mississippi and whose children were William Allen Abels and Sarah Ables.
I am the only child of Joseph William Ables and Martha Lucille Weems. I am 83 years old and enjoying my search for my family. I would like to know you.
