Hi, I am part of a group of researchers who are trying to collect info on all the War of 1812 & the Civil War Veteran's of Monroe Co.
Henry A. Ables enlisted August 11, 1862 in Wellington Township, Monroe Co., WI into the 25th WI Infantry, Co. D.
He died August 26, 1863 - disease.
We would like to know his date & place of birth, his parents 6 Their dates/place of birth, death & burial and any information on where Henry lived before the war. Also if he married, his wife's date/place of birth, remarriage, her parents & their dates/place of birth, death & burial.
Also the names of any children.

We are fortunate to have funding for our book and can include photos and all letters/diaries, etc. that pertain to the War.
If you have any info on him, or if you believe that any info I sent you is incorrect, please let me know. Pictures, etc would be very welcome.
