My Grandfather born April4,1882 in Evening Shade Arkansas was William Evans Ables and died there on September 6, 1967, his parents were John W. Ables & Margaret Qualls who married in 1878. John Ables died around 1885 and Margaret "Qualls" then married John Evans of Evening Shade, Arkansas. John Ables born around 1848 in Mississippi his parents were James Ables and Elizabeth McCaa who married in 1849. James Ables alleged birth place was somewhere in Tennessee around 1830-33. This is as far back I can trace my family tree. James & Elizabeth Ables had two other children also in Mississippi, Sarah Ables in 1855 and Joseph Ables in 1856. How acurate these records are I'M not sure but if anyone has clearer history on my family line please notift me at tgcables@aol.com
