I have very little info on John Ables my Great grand-father or his prior family history. I do know that he died somewhere around 1885 while his son; Will Ables was only 3 years old. Margaret Qualls "Ables" then later married John Evans of Evening Shade. Will Ables took on his step father's last name as his middle name.
Any data on John Ables would be most appreciated.
My Great grand-father wasJohn Ables who married Margaret Qualls whose son was Will Ables who in turned married Theo Dosha Carter all in the Evening Shade, Arkansas area. They had 12 children 5 sons and 7 daughters. After Theo Dosha death in February 1928 Will Ables married Marie Johnson and they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. My father Dave Ables was the 4th child of Will & Theo Ables. Dave Ables married Martha Rose Ackerman July 10, 1935 in Evening Shade, Arkansas after 1945 they moved to Missouri and lived mostly around Clay and Clinton County Area near Kearney & Holt, Missouri.
