Joan, Nancy's Mother and father were James Cook and Judith B. Cook, James born in SC c,1807 and Judith in VA C 1816. This information came from I believe Cherokee county Census record. Might be Nacogdoches Co 1850. If you look at this record and then at the Grayson co. record 1870, you will find Virginia, Nancy's sister in the household with them.
