n 1850 census of MS., county of Ittawamba ,page 423, District # 7, line
9, house # 618,620, are THE Samuel McKay family and Joseph Ables
family.On the next page is listed at line 20, house # 626, Hesekiah Ables
age 70 and Elizabeth McCaa, age 15. Birth places are listed in TN. This could be Elizabeth of 1834 MS. Birth place could be wrong. Page 433 house # 760,
Ables.pg 423, house 619 is listed a Hiram SMITH and wf Mary.The names of
the children have the Mother's name of the Samuel McKay family and also a
Joseph. It is just possible the wife is a McKay and married SMITH,next
house are JOSEPH ABLES and family.
