you might not think their would be a connection here since thomas and lucinda abel or able lived in the winston co. al. area but thomas and lucinda abel had a daughter that was named sarah e abel born in 1877 and she married a loyd smith in 1892 in monroe co. ms. which is north east miss. on the alabama border. they had a son named eric e smith born in 1896 and he was my grandfather and i understand he lived in bolibar co. ms. in skene ms. but i do not know if he went there with his parents or when he was older. i know there were some abloes in monroe co. ms. that might have gone there too. there may be a connection. would you have any info on any ables from monroe co. ms. that went to bolovar co. ms.? thanks ross
