Could your line of ABLES be connected to my husband's direct line of ABLES of:
Joseph S. ABLES, b.1804 TN he and his family came to TX in 1836; one of his sons-
Isham ABLE b.1836, LA (he was born enroute to TX); one of his sons-
James C. ABLE b 7 Jan 1858 TX and my husband's g grandmother was:Willie May ABLES, b. 4 Mar, 1885 TX.
It seems to me it could possibly be a cousin line here....let me know what you think, Happy Trails, Joan
