Snarr of 688 Your James Abel who lived in Cook County, TX and my Moses Abel were indeed brothers. They were my great uncles and brothers of my grandfather, Francis Marion Abel. Their parents were James Abel Sr. and Jane Morrison Abel. James Abel Sr. and Jane had 15 children. Eight of them were boys. All served in the Confederate Army.
