Ezekial ABLES is shown in 1850 Census with wife Mary ? who is quite old
His son Ezekial ABLES b.ca.1780 VA(or SC) goes to TX and d.ca.1849 TX
His son Joseph S. ABLES b.ca.1804+ TN. He and his wife Margaret and family go to TX in 1836.(At one time later he had owned ca.40,000 acres of East TX land, but in 1860 went bankrupt.)
His son Isham ABLE was b.1836 LA (prob enroute to East TX)-(possible could be Choctaw) He m. 1 Aug, 1854 Cherokee Co., TX. to Nancy J. COOK. Their son James C. ABLE was b. 7 Jan 1858 Cherokee Co., TX and m. 7 Feb 1880 Somervell Co., TX to Mary Frances TIPPETT, dtr of Andrew TIPPETT and Mary Caperton SOAPE. Her line goes back a long ways. Any data on ABLE(S)however is still needed. Happy Trails, J
