Looking for ANY information on Charles Ables/Abels and Barbara Norris of Meigs County, Ohio.
Charles was born in Mason County, W. Va. in 1854. He m. Barbara A. Norris, daughter of Gilbert Norris and Angelina Fox, on Jan 20, 1875 in Meigs Co. They had 4 children, but it is believed that only one survived, William M. b. Jan. 1877
It is believed that Barbara d. in Letart Falls, Meigs County, Ohio about 1890. From that point on, Charles disappeared from the face of the earth.
It is known that their son, William M. Ables ,was living, in 1900, age 23, with his aunt and uncle, John and Virginia Smith, in Pittsburg, Pa. but no further record of him.
Looking for his descendants or any information.
