I am searching for the family of Adam F. Able (c.1830-1882), probably the son of Elisabeth & Conrad Able. The parents were from Germany, but Adam was born in Wheeling, (West) Virginia. I don't know if there were any other children. Adam relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana. He wed Caroline Thompson and had a son William Henry Able there in 1858. After Caroline died, he wed Adele Chauvin. The name became Abell then Abel later.
