Searching for an indian connection to the Able or Abel family. My ancestor was Joh B Able born 1797 in Abbeville District SC and had a son John B Able and they went to Blount co Tn. He married Roxanne (Rhoda( Johnson and they had a son Thomas M Able born 1832-1833 in Tn then the family wnet to Randolph co Al in early 1830's. Thomas M Abel went to Winston co Al where he married Lucinda Ray in 1862. Would anyone know if there was an indian connection to these Ables? Thanks, Ross
