I am just starting my search for geneology on my grandfather's side of the family. My grandfather's name is Joe Lara. His parents were Maria de la Luz Montoya and Jesus Lara. Maria's parents were Juan Francisco Montoya and Eduvigen Abeyta and they were married on Feb. 4, 1878. I have come across Eduvigen's baptism date as May 3, 1864 when she was 13 days old. Her parents were Jesus Maria Abeyta and Maria Clara Fernandez as far as I know. I may be wrong because like I said I am just starting my search.
