Does anyone out there have any information whatsoever on the family of James Abernethy (1774-1844) and his sons James (1809-1879), Robert (1824-1884) and John (1829-1868),who founded and ran the above famous ironfoundry in Ferryhill, Aberdeen, which was responsible for casting many bridges in the North east of Scotland and possibly elsewhere right up until the 1950's.
