I am not a genealogist but a shipwreckresearcher and owner of the Terschelling island shipwreck museum, in Holland.
I am looking for information about captain Abernathy, probably from New York who lost his ship, the s.s. KERWOOD december 1st 1919 in the North Sea near Terschelling island. The Kerwood was a ship of the American Ship and Commerce Navigation Company (before Kerr Line)
With regards, Hille van Dieren
