Searching for information on the ABERNETHY family (of which there are several) in Phila. Pa. area. Robert Elder ABERNETHY born N. Ireland, died Phila. Pa. 1935. Married Margaret Jane MCCLELLAND. Children: Hugh Brown ABERNETHY b. 11-15-1891 d. 2-1-1944; Susan A. ABERNETHY; and Thomas M. ABERNETHY. Robert was one of four children to William ABERNETHY and Susan ELDER.
