I don't know if you'll remember me, but you asked my about MacKeachern David Abernethy. You stated that his father's name was Alfred and his mother was Elizabeth Davis. I searched on the 1901 Almonte Census and didn't find MacKeachern but upon searching the 1881 Census I found an Alfred Abernethy age 10 in Kingston and found a few matches for Elizabeth Davis, too numerous to put here but if you have found a birthdate for her maybe I can narrow it down a bit.
Listed below is the 1881 Census report for Alfred Abernethy.
I have found some info on my Abernethy's and found that my Samuel's parents were William Abernethy and Mary all born in Antrim, Ireland.
