Does anybody have information on Sallie Brown (Probably Sarah Amelia Brown), second wife of John Ware Abernethy? Sallie was born on 22 May, 1869 in Pontotoc, MS. Died 4 Nov 1947 in Hollis,Harmon,OK. John Ware Abernethy was born on 16 May, 1848 in Pontotoc. He died 1 March 1929 in Hollis. (First wife- Sarah Ann Talbot)
John and Sallie were married in McKinney, Collin,TX.
Her mother's name may have been Huldah Garrett and she had a brother named Thaddeus.
John Ware was my ggrandfather through Herbert Leslie.
Any info on Sallie would be much appreciated. ewa
