Abernathy Family Genealogy Forum

Thanks, Elizabeth. I rec'd your email (reply) without att., but I wonder if I can receive a new one with att.? I am amazed by how many David Abernathy's in Al, you have found! I originally got my TN tax list census info from published books, located at the Sutro Branch, CA State Library, in SF. The same with the early Giles and Maury Co., TN, and Shelby, Macon, and Coosa Co. AL census material (from viewing the sheets on their microfiche readers). When I later joined Ancestry, I confirmed same from their Census and Voter Lists collections, as well as finding David Abernathy, still living in Macon Co., AL, on their 1855 AL State Census. When I get down there next, I will copy and send the source info from the TN Tax Lists book (best I can do): I realize that I have not provided much source information, in the past, and will now be sure to include it, with my findings
