Elizabeth, I was going by the will of Susanna Tillman dated 19Nov1716 Probated in Prince Geo., Co. 12May1716-17(D. & W. 1713-28 p 1d4) It mentions sons Thomas Parham, George Tillman and john Tillman, daughters, Jane Robinson(Roberson)(Robertson)and Christian Abernathy; grandaughter Mary Bethel and grandson Robert Abernathy. It was Lucretia Abernathy [Robertson] I was looking for, Not Lucinda..... I am just trying to find out which Abernathy family my Lucretia belongs??? I want my data to be as accurate as possible. The Robertsons were not just 'some' Robertsons. Nicholas Robertson who married 2nd. Jane Tillman's greatgrandson was General James Robertson, 'the father of Tennessee'. Also, Extended families of this Robertson family were the Pace, Maycock, Poythress families and so many more early 1600 Virginians, Pocahontas {Rebecca}Powhatan (Matoaka) who married John Rolfe's son married one of the Poythresses, Jane Poythress. A lot of these Abernathys ended up in Tenn. in the area that Gen. Robertson settled. One of these Abernathys married into the Farrar family.(which links with mine) Carolyn Notify Administrator about this message?
