I don't know of Elizabeth Ferguson, my source is the following post to the Abernathy Mailing List on Apr 21, 1997, other than that I haven't a clue.

Hi. I am Regina Roper. I was the source (to Herman, at least) for the
elusive record re: George Abernathy in ther London records. The below is the
exact record I had (but now can't find)
The lady's name is the same reference I had.
If it will assist anyone, I have a copy of Robert's 1772 Tyron Co will
