I know Ella Marie had two sisters, and that for a short time she held the surename Nance. However throughout her life, she had 4-5 husbands and I only know of Fred Lloyd Nance, my great grandfather. As far as weather or not she ever left the state or if she died out of state, I do not know. Unfortunately, my grandmother was not very concerned with keeping records. There isn't much more I remember about the Abernathy's other than the fact that my Great Great Grandfather owned a Tobacco plantation in KY.
