I would venture to guess that the marriage between John Witt and Lucretia Adaline [surname unknown] occured cir 1854 in TN and that the marriage between the widow'd Mrs Witt and the unknown Abernathy occured between 1870 and 1877 or early 1878, probably in Cherokee County AL. I have been unable to reliably trace the Witt family back past 1860, nor to identify the unknown Abernathy male. Sorry I can't be of more help.
