I know of no list that ties the name of Robert Abernethy with that of George Abernethie of Barrie, but I've only been searching for one for at least a decade and a half and I may have missed it.

I currently have a copy of a list of Scots Prisoners published in London and dated 6 days after the Battle of Worcester. It's a very poor copy but the only Abernethys listed on it are George and John, neither of whom are very high ranking at all.

As for the supposition of Robert being a son of George Abernethie of Barrie, I thought I'd already effectively laid that one to rest by several of my previous posts in this forum?
