Aberman, Abraham from Russia,1800's

My grandfather, Abraham Aberman/Averman came I think from Odessa, Russia to the US in the early 1900's, as a young man. He married Fannie/Fanny who also came over from Romania about the same time. They lived in the Bronx; had three children: Lillian, Sidney and Mirriam. Sidney was my father, born 17 May 1915, NYC, NY. I have seen a reference to a Abraham Meyer Aberman on the WWI civilian draft registration on Rootsweb; it says he was born 5 June 1883, a citizen of Russia; and was registered for the draft in NYC (the Bronx), NY, district #3. This may be my grandfather. My father said that Abraham worked as a housepainter and was very artistic. He died relatively young of a heart attack; he was seperated/divorced from Fannie. I am looking for any info. about Abraham and any other Abermans. Are there any cousins out there? (Michelle Klein, if you are online and see this posting, please contact me!!)
