In posting the mother of Hannah Mercer (1742-1774), I incorrectly posted from my research notes Edward Mercer's first wife, Ann Coats, as the mother. Edward Mercer's second wife, Ann Gamble, who he married in 1740 was the mother of Hannah Mercer. Sorry for the oversight...
