I did find the dicussion interesting, and I believe perhaps a different view of a problem might be helpful. But when the discussion turns from speculation to" I know" without proof it is going to far. We know their has been a lot of misleading information about our family over the years, and we don't need more spread out there. I am sure our family came from Scotland, and I am pretty sure that we are related to Robert's branch of the family but I can't proof it. Perhaps DNA testing might help prove the connection. Both are speculation and I will state that. Let us all use the proper terms when we describe what we believe,so others do not perceive that as the gospel.
