Yes, but this has no information of how these folks are related. We do know that Sarah Brown was a dau of James & therefore the sister of David Allen. I have no information of exactly how David Allen and Lucinda are related: no proof that they are brother & sister or husband & wife. And no information of who Washington belongs to. 1850 Talladega Co AL hh#1218/1207 James Abercrombie, 65, farmer, 7000, SC Cynthia, 55, SC Lucinda, 27, SC David A, 25, farmer, SC Hastings D, 24, farmer, SC Bailey/Bailes?, 23 farmer, SC Sarah, 16, SC Isabella, 4, MS [maybe d/o James H] Isaac A Madden, 22, farmer, SC The listing above with Lucinda before David implies she is a family daughter, not David's wife. (It was usual to list a wife after her husband.) 1860 Fannin Co TX Bonham, hh#182/184 James Abercrombie, 73, farmer, 4000/7000, SC C(f), 65, NC Lucinda, 30, SC Washington, 9, AL Note the absence of David Allen and Lucinda only ageing 3 years in a ten-year time period (something one usually notes in unmarried women). That said, I could also argue the other way: that Lucinda IS the spouse of David Allen. Then, there's the following census with two blank spaces where Lucinda would fit: 1830 Laurens Co SC James Abercrombie 2-2-1-0-0-1 1-0-1-2-0-2 and 11 slaves 2 males under 5[Hastings D, Bailey], 2 males 5-10[David A & ?], 1 male 10-15[Richard B], 1 male 30-40 1 female under 5[Sarah], 2 females 10-15[unknown], 2 females 15-20[Isabella, Elizabeth], 2 females 30-40 Granted that the above may contain a widowed relative & perhaps some of her children. And I am still having trouble sorting out possible who's who on the 1840. Anyway, thanks for bringing this up & making me reconsider how Lucinda is related to this family.
