I am not researching this family, just have books on the area. From "Year Book, Pasquotank Historical Society, Vol. 3" is the following:
"Abercrombie, Hannah - August 12, 1754, January Court 1755 - Daughter; Catherine Chamberlin, Grandchildren: Lucy and Jeremiah Chamberlain (spelled both ways in this record), Daniel Everton, William Hannah, and James Everton, Courtney and Aby Chamberlain. Executrix: Catherine Chamberlin. Witnesses: Thomas Taylor, William Coale, Clerk of Court, T. Taylor."
There were no other Amercrombies in the index of this book; there were some Chamberlin & Chamberlains, and Evertons.
