Here is the obituary that we found for Vol
Abercrombie.
VOL ABERCROMBIE OBITUARY
Vol Abercrombie died of an apparent heart attack
yesterday in Salt Lake City while enroute by car
with his wife to Colorado to visit a sick relative.
A native of Arkansas, he was 73.
He was a retired farmer and had lived in this area
for 18 years, last making his home at 65 Airport
Road. He leaves his wife Mamie of the home.
A son, Tommy of Marina, four daughters,
Mrs. Leona Ackley, Mrs. Virginia Morgan,
and Mrs. Norma Johnson all of Watsonville,
and Mrs. H. D. Smith of Kansas City, Mo.
Two step-daughters, Mrs. Raymond Ayers
and Mrs. Gene Collins both of Watsonville,
15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren,
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being made by
White's Memorial Chapel.
