On RootsWeb there is a listing for a Vol Abercrombie b. 10 Mar 1891 with 1961 as the year of death. Last known residence was in Calinfornia, but his SS nummber was issued in Arkansas.

There is also a Thomas C. and Isabel Abercrombie listed on the 1880 Benton Co census as living in Sulphur Springs. I imagine it is the same family- he was only 26 in 1880. Additionally, they are both buried in the Butler Creek cemetery just south of the MO/AR state line on HWY 59.
