I have Alben's in my family line and there is a John Alben born and died in Germany but his wife Angela Flingt Alben came to the USA with her children, Herman,Susanna, Katherine, Elizabeth, and Margaret and settled in Shakopee, MN. I do not know if this is the line of Alben's you are looking for but I do have more info if it is.
