This is what I have about Jabez Abell from The Abell Family History in America by H.A. and L.P. Abell : He was born at Aylmer, Ont. January 18, 1807; died March 6, 1866; married June 11, 1829 Charlotte Tyrrell, died June 13, 1835; married second, Susan Miller. resided at St. Charles and other points in Illinois. He served in the Civil War and died from disease contracted therein. His children are as follows: With Charlotte Tyrrell - Eliza Jane, born 2-19-1830;died unmarried; Augustus Victor Wood, born 8-9-1832; Roxanna, born 1834; died 7-11-1835. Children with Susan Miller; John Miller, born 12-25-1844; Benjamin, born at St. Charles; Henry D., b. at St. Charles; Daniel, born at St. Charles; had son Benjamin Abell. If you are interested in Susan Miller's children, there is some more information available. As far as I can tell he traces from Robert Abell, the first immigrant > Benjamin > Benjamin > Elijah > Abel > Daniel > to your Jabez. This book doesn't mentioned your Jabez's middle name so the information you have provided is good and needed!! I have written it in the book. We do have some common ancestors - way back in time!!
