OK here is another piece of paper to add to your wall. I have 5 Joseph Abell's in my tree. These Joseph's are all from the same line.
1st Captain Robert/Richard Abell(B.abt. 1610- D aft. 1658) Unknown wife had
2nd Samuel Abell(B. abt 1650 - D 1698)married Ann Gardiner had
3rd Samuel Abell II, (B abt 1675 - D. 1764) married Winifred Hall Raley had
4th Samuel Abell, III (you will also find him listed as Jr. he took up that name later) (B 1719 - D 1777)married Eleanor O'Bryan had
5th Joseph Abner Abell, Sr. (B 1759 - D. 1863) married Alathea Unknown had
6th Joseph Abner Abell, Jr (B 1795 - D. 1863) married Martha Nancy Mills had
7th Benedict Joseph Abell (B 1829 - D 1910) married Mary Ann "Molly" Moss had
8th (1)Joseph Henry Abell (B 1876 - D 1882)
8th (2) Francis LaCoste Abell ( B. 1879 - D 1929) married Mary Cody had
9th Joseph Richard Abell (b 1918)

This is 9 generations of Abell's. I would love any information that you have and I would be glad to share more of what I have. Hopefully this will answer some questions. Do you live in South Carolina now?
