The Daughters of the Republic of Texas (http://www.drtl.org/Store/index.asp) list ONE copy of an Abell family book for sale on their website.
Following is information about their book sales and also the "Abell" book:
Books posted for sale were received as unrestricted donations from individuals in support of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library. They are either duplicates of that which is already owned by the library or miscellaneous material not applicable to the collections. Income earned through their sale benefits the library's Acquisition Fund. All items are subject to prior sale.

I don't know anything about this book and do not "currently" :o) have an Abell connection in my line! I was just surfing their website for other info. I thought an Abell family researcher may be interested. (If so, I hope it's still for sale and FULL OF LOTS OF VALUABLE INFO :o)
