Possibly some of you have seen this. Now please note that I
am not particularly interested in the name ABELL, but I am
interested in PHELPS & AYRES.
ABELL, ELIZABETH "BETSY" AYRES PHELPS - Elizabeth, "Betsy," Ayres Phelps Abell, 65, of Briarcliff Manor, NY, died November 1, 2001. A native of Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, Betsy was preceded in death by her mother Ann Paulding Naile Phelps, her father Charles M. Phelps, Co-Founder and Secretary Treasurer of Pierce-Phelps Inc., and her infant daughter Lori. Sister of Paulding Phelps of East Boothbay, Maine and Ann Naile Phelps of Brigantine, New Jersey. Mother of David Abell of London, England, Lisa Harrington of Bronxville, New York, Kimberly Creasman of Winter Park, Florida, Hilary Abell of Oakland, California and Glenn Abell of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also leaves behind five granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at Christ Church in Bronxville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betsy’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Grand Avenue, Oakland, California 94612.
