I am descended from a Caleb Abell in Virginia. His daughter Sarah married Josiah RIchardson, ELizabeth married George Smith. There was also a Polly, Nancy and Susanna. I have a record of a Caleb Abell buying 694 acres in Albemarle County Virginia in 1798. Could this be Caleb Abell (1742-1773, married Mary Clarke) of Maryland's son?
