I am attempting to make a connection between Joseph Abell, son of Caleb Abell of Lebanon, CT, and Roger Abell, b. 1766 in Lebanon (?). Apparently both Joseph and Roger left CT and settled in Franklin, New York. I have not been able to connect them with a birth certificate, etc.
Roger died in 1794, and Joseph apparently lived until 1807. Roger's widow married William Kingsely, and both moved to Burnt Hills, Saratoga Co., New York.
