Looking for ancestors for John Abell, a farmer living in Sussex Co, NJ prior to the Revolutionary War. He was enlisted in the NJ Volunteers (a "tory" or "loyalist" regiment, depending on which side of the border you are on). He was captured during the war, and exchanged at the end, moving with other loyalists to Saint John, N.B.
