John Henry Abell was born in 1849. His mother's name is probably wrong on my end. One of his daughter's, (my ggrandmother) is named Mary Thomas Abell and maybe that is the confusion. My info comes from an old family reunion book no one claims to making. Where might I find "The Abell Index?" Or where might I get more info. My grandmother is the youngest and most lucid of the remaining children in her family and knows very little. I have this old book to go by and conflicting stories as to where they might be from.
