I have found a Ruben C. Abel age 11 born May 1889 in the Howard, Bates, Missouri 1900 census. He is living in the home of his grandmother Nancy A. Carman. Shows his mother born in Illinois and his father born in Ohio. I also have a Lucy Abel in 1900 census living with her uncle Thomas J. Abel in Texas. That census shows her mother born in Arkansas and her father born in Ohio. I am wondering if Lucy and Ruben C. Abel might be brother and sister. I know that Lucy's grandfather was named Reuben H. Abel. Thomas is living in Tennessee in 1910, but Lucy is not mentioned. I figure she has married by that time. Would love to know who she married and what happened to this child Ruben C. C. Abel. Any and all help appreciated.
