I was able to trace my line of Abel's to George Arthur Abel Sr.(Born around 1901) After that it is almost like his parents didn't exist. I am looking to extend this line.
I know that he married Myrtle S. Summitt in Knox County, Indiana (Nov. 23, 1912). He had four children that I know of:
*William Clifton Abel (b. 8-12-1917. d. in 1980s in Lexington, KY)
*Charles "Chick" Franklin Abel (b. 3-21-1919 d. Feb. 2001 in Evansville, IN)
*George Albert Abel (b. 9-7-1921 d. 1992)
*Paul Elwood Abel (b. 5-18-1923)
All of his children were born in Daviess County, Indiana.
