RICHARD GEORGE ABEL
RICH, age 68, passed away at home on Sunday, February 10, 2008. He was born March 18, 1939 to GEORGE and ILMA ABEL. RICH grew up in Tacoma (WA) and is a proud Alumni of Stadium High School, UPS and UW (where he was a member of Delta Chi fraternity).
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, SUE ANNE MONEY ABEL; children, MICHAEL GREGORY and SARAH ELIZABETH; brother, DOUGLAS (ALICE) ABEL; loving sister-in-law, LIBBY ABEL; nieces and nephews: IAN ABEL, KELSEY ABEL (CHAD) CAMP, ERIN ABEL, GEORGE ABEL; and great-nephew, HENRY GEORGE CAMP. He was preceded in death by his brother, GEORGE ABEL. RICH was a genuinely nice, kind and gentle man. Family was his greatest joy in life.
A Celebration of RICH's life will be held on Thursday, February 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 - 5th Ave. S in Edmonds, WA (425) 771-1234.
