Hi Dave: Here you go, been working on the family tree on and off for 20 years, have now moved into 21st century. I've traced all the branches back to the "old country" except the abel's, here is what I know: Frederick Andrew Abel B: july 10, 1855..buffalo, N.Y.(don't trust the city have one record says Chicago) D: Dec 11, 1895 M: April 23, 1879 Chicago W: Mary Watson B: April 13, 1856 D: Jan 23, 1933 RES: 97 Vedder Ave-Chicago 1648 Fletcher St. Chicago Family Plot--Graceland Cemetery, Chicago SON'S: 1. Frederick Andrew Abel B: Jan 20, 1880 Chicago D: 1944 San Clemente, Ca. Chicago police SGT 1911 thru 1929 ( some stories I bet) 2. William Watson Abel B: Sept 29, 1883 Chicago D: Oct 22, 1926 Chicago 3. Charles Thomas Abel---my Grandfather B; Feb 19, 1893 Chicago D; Nov 7, 1957 4.Ucyless Clarence Abel B: Jan6, 1894 Chicago D: Aug 28, 1972 We moved to calif. 1955. I barely remember Uncle Ping. Seems to me he was a kindly old gentleman at the time. I'm still looking for my great great grandparents. Wrote Uncle ping for any info he had, but he never wrote back. My grandmother mentioned something about "ST. Louis Abels and Mary Watson Abel visited someone on Dearborn st in Chicago. The Abel branch has driven me crazy for years. Hope this helps, I can send regular tree sheets if you like....Terrence(Terry) Robert Abel. Would love to hear from you. Notify Administrator about this message?
