looking for someone who could look up a marriage between Alfred White and Elizabeth Adams that reportedly took place 28 Nov 1845. Location unknown, but i suspect it was either Grayson Co., Va. or Ashe Co. NC as this family moved back and forth a lot. Possibly even TN as Elizabeth lists her place of birth as TN. Elizabeth would have been 17 years of age, and Alfred about 38. They were in the Grayson Co. census for 1850 and Wise Co. in 1860.
Any information on the White or Adams surname in that area prior to 1845 would be greatly appreciated also.
