OBITUARIES
MARION G. ABEE
Funeral services are schedule for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at the Harmony Baptist Church (Dawsonville, Georgia) for Mrs. Marion G. Abee, 73, of Dawsonville.
The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Abee died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Troup County, Georgia, she had lived in Dawson County, Georgia, for the past 30 years, having moved from East Point, Georgia.
A homemaker, she was formerly employed by the Department of Defense. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, Dawsonville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Charline Abee; Ben Hill Gordy and Mary Will Kitchens Gordy; and a sister, Mary Frances Gordy Armstrong.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charles E. Abee, Dawsonville; cousin, Jessie Lee Gordy, Pine Mountain, Georgia; and a number of other relatives.
